Columbia's YELLOW too quickly! In a day when EVERYONE complains about quality on these social sites, that's the last pair they wanna release. Besides every year the production number of 11's increases significantly. I doubt (and this is just my opinion) J/B and Nike feel they can move more than 500,000 (The amount created for the bred 11's) plus pairs in December 2013. There's just no way to HYPE/Market a plain white pair of 11's that will eventually turn yellow before All-star week 2014 or spring. Nike knows this! You also have to think about the legal repercussions. If enough people come together and complain about the product being flawed (yellowing), it could turn into a massive class action suit against Nike. i.e. Microsoft's "Red Ring of Death". It' could be for that same reason they opted out last year in place of the Bred 11's. Collectors mean Sh%t to them. Publicity and Dollars is what their in business for. Those Black outs and Space Jams would cause retail Chaos, Publicity, and Massive Dollars. And that my friends is Priceless.
We are not here to confirm nor deny any rumors, but it is tough to overlook the whispers of a possible Holiday 2013 Air Jordan 11 release. The facts are the only things we know for sure is that Jordan Brand takes holiday releases very seriously. Black Friday and Christmas specifically have been typically reserved for some monster releases, like last years Bred drop of the Air Jordan 4 and 11. It seems odd that JB would choose to use the same model for two consecutive holiday releases, but the XI is a very important number in the Jordan line-up so it isn’t totally out of the question.
We’ve heard all types of colorways mentioned, from original versions like the Columbia’s to the Space Jams, to the more innovative like the “Blackouts” or “Gamma Blue”, to the over-the-top “Year of the Snake” which PS versions have hinted at a snake printed patent leather. The only thing we know for sure is that the holiday season will hold something BIG, and at this point we can only speculate, but hey that’s what the internet is for. Let us know in the comments your thoughts and what versions you would like to see released
