Every shoe draws inspiration from another walks of life in some form or fashion. Whether you look at something like the FlyKnit, which incorporates the basic premise of knitting and takes it to higher form of tech advancement, or something like the Kamikaze II and it’s seismic pattern looking like an earthquake on foot. The Nike Air Foamposite One “Fighter Jet” was conceived with the Russian Сухой ПАК ФА, or PAK FA T-50 Jet in mind. The Sukhoi PAK was developed around early 2002 to lead the stealth flight division for the Russian Air Force.
The most recent prototype, the T-50, is where the camo pattern was taken from. While it’s easy to see the Fighter Jet Foams are highly sought after to be an on-foot attention grabber, the origins of the shoe are rooted in clandestine and covert activity. Very Sneaky indeed. You’ll have your chance to snag these tomorrow morning, but move quickly, these will be gone in the blink of an eye.
