$32 Million Worth of Counterfeit Nike and adidas Shoes Seized by Customs in Chile

Counterfeit sneakers have been one of the biggest eye sores for major footwear brands and these days, its hard to tell what is real and what isn’t.

Recently reported by the Chilean National Customs Office, was an overhaul of counterfeit sneakers siezed by the Latin American country worth over $31,786,395. The shipment was sent by China on November 7th, and was stopped in Chile for inspection. The boxes were hidden underneath packages of napkins that contained 16,545 shoes split up into 474 boxes. For those that copped someone a shoe gift this year, make sure you research the shoe details before copping!
