adidas has announced the expansion of their 4D range with two new colorways of the ALPHAEDGE 4D running shoe. These new colorways stand out even more than previous releases, especially in low light, thanks to their reflective upper.
The new ALPHAEDGE 4D colorways come in both black and white and feature a breathable Primeknit upper with zoned areas of support for added lateral stability. Each thread on the upper is individually constructed with FORGEFIBER – a process using TPU-coated yarn that maximizes performance when stitched at various angles and layers for ultimate strength in motion. A 3D-printed lattice midsole in mint green and black Continental rubber outsole completes the design.
adidas has also announced their plans to develop their 4D technology so that they can custom-design the lattice based on specific sports and individual athlete needs.
