Marking a brand new chapter in the Equipment series, adidas Originals presents the first installment of EQT for 2017, bringing with it a whole new direction for the iconic 90s franchise.

Pushing the evolution of the groundbreaking EQT series further than ever before, adidas Originals presents a brand new iteration of the EQT Support ADV silhouette, accompanied by a bold new manifestation of the EQT design philosophy; the EQT Support 93/17. Joining this lineup is the EQT Support RF, EQT Support ADV PK and EQT Support Ultra — each decked out in the Equipment Series’ brand new Turbo colour palette.

Turbo Red underpins the entire release as the new signature colour for EQT. Identified as the polar opposite to the range’s original EQT Green, the new color scheme sets the stage for the next generation of EQT. Everything that is essential. Nothing that is not.

Information on each model:

EQT Support 93/17

The latest evolution of the Equipment series, adidas Originals presents the EQT Support 93/17, a bold new manifestation of the EQT design philosophy. The EQT Support 93/17 reconfigures the original blueprint of the EQT Support 93 with an aggressive design language, blending authentic Equipment materials with an uncompromising modern mode. A woven knit upper in a pixelated noise motif is overlaid with premium nubuck panels and webbing-tape 3-stripes, whilst embroidered details and a contrast heel unit brings the shoe’s striking aesthetic to its peak. More than just looks, a slew of technical details ensure the EQT Support 93/17 is built for performance, including an OrthoLite® sockliner, TPU support panel and full-length Boost midsole unit. Debuting in a bold new colourway that debuts EQT’s brand new Turbo colour palette, the release truly marks the birth of a brand new chapter for the iconic EQT series.

 EQT Support ADV

adidas Originals presents a brand new iteration of the EQT Support ADV silhouette for 2017, bringing the brand new EQT Turbo colour palette to the next generation Equipment model for the very first time. True the shoe’s original formula, the EQT Support ADV features a sock-fit two-tone knit construction, structured with moulded TPU heel panel and an integrated 3-stripes lacing system. Finishing touches include welded synthetic nubuck on the toebox and a reflective quarter panel, placed atop a fluid EVA midsole with EQT’s iconic molded 3-stripes details. Offered in the new EQT colour palette of Core Black and Turbo Red, the result is a bold step forward in the ever-changing story of the Equipment Series.

EQT Support RF

adidas Originals presents the EQT Support RF in a new colour palette for 2017, elevating the shoe’s fluid 90s design perspective with bold hits of Turbo Red. The release stays true to the original EQT Support blueprint, featuring a classic mesh and suede construction with structural TPU overlays. The shoe’s refined profile is highlighted by a Core Black colour palette, accented with a striking hit of Turbo Red on the heel panel. Finishing touches include an essential integrated three-stripes lacing system, medial support piece and external heel cage, placed atop a classic EQT tooling with overflow 3-stripes marks. It’s pure EQT style with a clean, contemporary touch.

EQT Support ADV PK

adidas Originals presents a brand new configuration of the EQT Support ADV silhouette for 2017 with the first iteration of the progressive Equipment silhouette in EQT’s brand new Turbo colour palette. Reconfigured for 2017, the EQT Support ADV receives a full Primeknit construction across the upper, supported by a wraparound soft-mould support unit across the ankle and heel. Essential EQT elements are ever present, including the webbed 3-stripes lacing system and EVA midsole with integrated 3-stripes details, whilst an OrthoLite® sockliner ensures optimum comfort. The shoe makes one big departure from previous releases, however, with the introduction of the EQT’s new signature colour palette — black, white and Turbo red — countering a pure black upper and contrast white midsole with a subtle flash of Turbo on the heel. The result is a striking new iteration of Equipment, true to the series’ original philosophy.

EQT Support Ultra

A modern configuration of a 90s cult classic, adidas Originals presents a brand new take on the EQT Support Ultra for 2017 in the Equipment Series’ brand new Turbo colour palette. Blending pure 90s running design with essential contemporary tech, the EQT Support Ultra unites the EQT Support’s original mesh-nubuck construction with a progressive Ultra Boost tooling, whilst a soft-mold support panel and OrthoLite® sockliner ensures optimum fit and comfort. Classic Equipment elements are restored in full, including the webbed 3-stripes lacing system and asymmetric tongue, whilst the new Equipment palette sees the shoe completely reinvented in black, white and signature Turbo Red. Transforming an iconic Equipment model into a striking contemporary silhouette, the EQT Support Ultra culminates as a perfect symbiosis of functional design and street sensibility.
