This classic silhouette from adidas is making quite the comeback this Fall, and the three new colorways are tough (well at least two of them are). A true tennis shoe, these bad boys were originally dubbed the Arthur Ashe’s, due to their connection to tennis icon Arthur Ashe. The simple look of the green and beige colorways (both featuring a tan leather lining) are damn near perfection, and were designed with a finesse usually reserved for Lanvin, Givenchy and others of that ilk. All of this is great, really great, until adidas decided to derail the style train with an obnoxious third option, an all over faux pony hair upper with a leopard print graphic, which does the silhouette little justice.
