A refreshing new release from adidas Originals, here we see the Americana Hi 88 get a metallic makeover for 2014 that is keeping our hopes high for the world of sneakers in 2014. I already pointed this silhouette out in our post regarding which kicks Kanye should trick out once he gets going at adidas, and it’s nice to see that adidas is working with the once neglected silhouette. In a Yeezy-esque construction these see a mesh build that meets a suede toe-cap, with leather making itself noticed via the stripes and collar. You can cop these January 1st.
