The adidas Originals AO OG Hook Shot was the signature shoe for a pretty good basketball player back in the day that went by the name of Lew Alcindor. When Alcindor came out of college to dominate the NBA, he changed his name to the more recognizable Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Hook Shot is aptly named for for Kareem’s signature move, the sky hook, and the high top is set to return in it’s intended original form. The shoe comes at you in a supremely vintage look thanks to its simpliztice white and blue upper that gets an assist from a touch of yellowing to give it that aged look. Expect these to start rolling out at adidas Originals retailers in time for the Spring season.
