Before there was shoes with self-lacing systems and all that, there was the adidas Micropacer. The Three Stripes was the first company to insert actual technology in a shoe in a way that you could track your distances that you’ve walked or even see how many calories you’ve burned. The Micropacer was a huge deal when it released 30 years ago and now, we’re about to see it get a more rugged makeover.
The Micropacer has been updated to provide a better outdoor experience. The two colorways, a dark forest green and a fluorescent yellow, contains a knitted upper and high-abrasion overlays. The Micropacer Outdoor allows for a more functional shoe while infusing responsive technology.
These will be releasing on Novermber 20 at select adidas retailers.
