I’m holding back expletives as I type this as one quick scroll through adidas Originals’ preview of their Spring/Summer 2016 Tubular line has me feeling some type of way. The three stripes crew hit it out of the park and these kicks’ release cannot come soon enough.
The new looks for the already bold line see them channeling their inner Kanye, with bold silhouettes and simple colorways falling cleverly in line with his Yeezy Season 1 aesthetics. Could Yeezy himself have pulled a Zanotti and designed these? We may never know, but we do know the kicks are pure heat. The silhouettes are named the Defiant, Doom, X and Nova, and they each seem to play off of thing adidas has done with Y3, Rick Owens, Yeezy and others, and if, like previous Tubular offerings, these hover around $110-$150, these will be huge.
