adidas Originals is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Superstar by combining the silhouette with their other iconic shoe, the Stan Smith, naming it the “Superstan.”
The shoe blends signature design elements from each silhouette. Featuring the shell toe and sole unit from the Superstar blending with the perforated three stripes and the fairway green colorway of the Stan Smith. Finished with the signature tongue design.
Accompanying the new release of the Superstan, adidas Originals produced a comical film starring Stan Smith in Florida as he talks about his tennis-playing legacy while addressing being mostly known for his shoe.
The adidas Superstan will be released on the adidas webstore starting on Saturday, February 1st at 12pm CST globally and February 22nd in Europe. It retails at $110 USD.
