Original Story (03/30/20): As the first quarter of 2020 comes to a close and we move into the summer season, YEEZY continues to roll out new colorways and variations on the 350 V2. The second half of 2020 will see the model release in yet-to-be-revealed colorways named “Asriel” (September), “Abez” (November), and “Eliada” (December), but before we get any of those, YEEZY will be releasing a colorway named “Israfil.”
First look images of the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Israfil” reveal a light grey and tan upper in a patchwork-style design, not unlike other recently revealed 350 V2s. The upper sits atop a grey midsole and gum outsole. What makes this colorway special is that it marks the introduction of a new lacing system for the model. A set of bungee-style laces is included with this model, along with a set of standard rope laces, providing the wearer with a couple different styling options.

Update (08/17/20): YEEZY and adidas have officially announced the release of the “Israfil” 350 V2. According to adidas, the shoe will be available on August 22nd in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America via adidas.com, on the adidas app in select countries, and in select adidas stores. A countdown for the shoe is also live on yeezysupply.com.
