Air Jordan 1 High – Red – White – Black – 2013

1985 was the beginning of what became an Empire in the footwear industry. Michael Jordan and Nike released the Air Jordan 1 as the first chapter of 23 Air Jordan’s, that came consecutively in the coming years.  It is said that 2013 will be the year of the Air Jordan 1 and Jordan Brand will “establish the franchise collection through authentic executions across two silos: “Established” 1985 and “Since” 1985.” Just what exactly does this mean? could we be expecting Nike Air and Quality materials for the AJ 1 next year?

The photo above features the 2013 version of the OG Air Jordan 1 displaying a Jumpman on the tongue, but hopefully, Jordan Brand will throw a curve ball and give fans what they’ve been waiting for – the beloved ‘Nike Air’. The OG colorway is set to release in the first quarter of 2013, along with the Royal colorway. Let us know if you’ll be purchasing these come next year. Via NT

  1. Aaargh no Nike Air. Lol, oh well, didn’t think they’d be on there. At least the blue ones will. THOSE are the ones I need to pick up. (Sold out online in 01 before I could get my hands on a pair haha)

  2. JB’s said repeatedly that Nike Air will not appear on their shoes anymore. Period. Unless somebody from INSIDE JB’s circle of giants came out in an interview that so far NOBODY’S seen, you’re gonna get the Jumpman from here on out. Live with it. Hunt down an older pair, or stop dick-riding the Nike Air tag. Not directed at any particular person, just a generalized comment on that entire situation, the shit’s old already.
