Original Story (03/20/20): With everything going on right now, we have some positive flu-related news. Jordan Brand will be releasing an alternate version of the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game,” a shoe that Michael Jordan wore in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals while feeling sick with the flu. Despite feeling ill, MJ led Chicago to a 90-88 win, recording 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 1 block, including a 3-pointer with less than a minute left that gave the Bulls the go-ahead lead.

While the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” features a black base with red mudguards, this upcoming colorway reverses the colors, giving the shoe a red leather base and a black pebbled mudguard. The upper sits atop a blacked out sole with silver grey trimming on the midsole.

The Air Jordan 12 “Reverse Flu Game” is expected to release on December 26, 2020, making it a perfect pick-up if you’re looking to spend any Christmas money you may have received. Grab a look at the rendering below at stay tuned for first look images.
