Air Jordan 7 “Miro” Anticipated 2020 Return

The 2008 Air Jordan 7 “Miro” is rumored to make a comeback in 2020.

The original shoe was inspired by the sculpture Woman and Bird (1967) created by Spanish artist Joan Miró, who passed away in 1984. The Olympics were held in Barcelona in 1992 where Michael Jordan was wearing the Air Jordan 7 “Olympic,” leading to the inspired “Miro” silhouette.

The 2008 Air Jordan 7 “Miro” retailed at $175 USD and can now be found for as much as $2000 USD resale. The original was released in White/Sport Red/Black/Metallic Gold. The 2020 silhouette will swap out the Sport Red for Chili Red, likely similar enough to not incite much difference. Rumor also has it that only 1,000 pairs of the 2020 “Miro” were produced as a nod to the 2020 Olympics.

There’s no confirmation that shoe will hit retailers as of yet, but it is rumored to be released sometime in September. Catch a look at the 2008 Air Jordan 7 “Miro” below and keep it locked to Modern Notoriety for updates.
