This past Saturday, Akin in Chicago opened it’s 2nd location in Lincoln Park. First time visitor’s were treated to the sounds of DJ Earn Money of the Odd Couple and were refreshed with complementary (Elotes), watermelon, hot dogs, snow cones and other Chicago style street food. Some of the surprising highlights of that day were the availability of some kicks that most never thought to see again especially at retail. Clark Kent 112 Pack, World Cup AF-1 collection from 2006 and the DJ AM and Premier pack were only few of the goodies that were seen that day . The evening continued with live mannequins that displayed some of the NSW that will be available for this fall. Customer’s who made a purchase were entered into a raffle were they got the chance to take home the Air Jordan X Levi’s 23/501 Collection, and the original Air Jordan DMP’s.
