Angelo Baque’s Awake NY is set to release a footwear and apparel capsule made in collaboration with Reebok Classics. The two brand’s first collection together pays homage to the ’90s New York hip-hop and art movement with nostalgic colorways and branding hits.
The star of the collection is the Workout Lo Plus, offered in two colorways made of premium leather and suede. One comes in grey with blue Awake branding on the laterals, tongues, insoles, and aglets. A vibrant yellow midsole adds brightness to the colorway. A second colorway comes in all-black with white branding and will be released exclusively via Awake NY online and at Dover Street Market’s NY and LA locations.
The collection also includes the Instapump Fury, featuring a yellow cage that overlays the model’s black mesh upper. Hits of blue appear at the heel and on the Reebok branding on the tongue. The footwear is joined by a matching apparel collection, which includes two hockey jerseys and a tracksuit.
