The adidas Superstar is an all-time classic, and its rise to cultural phenomenon is all thanks to the early 1980’s Hip-Hop scene, and the cats that rocked them. From the b-boys and graffiti artists, to the emcees, thee Superstars played a big role in their culture. When acts like RUN DMC blew up, they put their favorite kicks on with them. These “Back in the Day” Superstar’s pay homage to the days that made these icons what they are now, and sees flashy new appointments that b-boys would have busted a move or two for. These three snakeskin colorways, in red, yellow and white, also feature matching fat laces, a popular addition “back in the day”. You can find these now, and of course you’ll have to bump some RUN DMC-presuming you take your laces out. More photos after the jump.
