In 2018, BAPE put on a 25th anniversary “BAPE HEADS” concert which featured performances from Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Pusha-T, and Lil Yachty. After dropping collections with Yachty and Wiz, BAPE is reconnecting with another BAPE HEADS performer: G.O.O.D. Music’s Grammy-nominated, platinum recording artist Big Sean.
The collection features multiple designs, including a Milo-style illustration of Sean, “A BATHING DON LIFE” college logo, a line referencing BAPE from the song “Paradise”, and an ape head donning the sunglasses that represent the Detroit style player. The range includes seven tees, two zip-up shark hoodies, and three trucker hats.
The BAPE x Big Sean collection will be available exclusively at A BATHING APE® locations worldwide on Saturday, November 16th. The LA BAPE store will host a meet and greet with Big Sean and an exclusive pre-release of the collection on Friday, November 15th. Meet and greet is limited to the first 100 customers.
