Before Modern Notoriety was ever an Idea, I did this for the love I have for the culture I embrace the most. Without Sneakers, there wouldn’t be such an influence through fashion and music. I remember a couple years back writing for a sneaker blog in which launched my notoriety throughout the city of Chicago. Since I started, I was covering events and being the first to do store features. I remember my first dope event-The Jamal Smallz Sneaker Showcase and Custom Car show in July 2008 held at Navy Pier. I met a lot of good people including P from windycitysole.com, Sneakerboy, Gemali, Eddie LovetheXIV and a couple other individuals who shared the same vision I have. Throughout that day, I experienced the sneaker culture from the individual stand point. Young and old, I learned that this wasn’t just a hobby..it is a lifestyle. Enough with the boring words though..Peep the heat of summer 08
