Boneyard x Chicago Public School Students “Owen T”

Earlier this year, Chicago Public School teachers went on a strike which resulted in a deal that ensured millions of dollars to the reduction of class sizes and the hiring of more nurses, social workers, case managers and other support staff. The strike lasted nearly two weeks and students ended up missing eleven days of school, with five make-up days being added to the end of the school year.

To keep the kids busy during the strike, Boneyard ran a contest asking CPS students to design their next t-shirt. With hundreds of entries received, the winning design was made by a student named Owen. Owen will be paid for his design and all proceeds from the sales of the tee will be donated to the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation.

The “Owen T” will be made to order and will ship out within 3/4 weeks of purchase. Preorders are open now on boneyardchicago.com and close on Sunday at midnight. Take a look at the winning design below.
