Asics Gel Lyte III – Michael Angelo “Ninja Turtles” Custom by Hybrid

The latest pair of custom kicks from KLR WHALES, this Hybrid designed Asics Gel Lyte III, dubbed “Michael Angelo”, is a direct nod to the aforementioned “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle”. Comprised of leather, mesh and suede, this classic Asics gets a cartoon inspired facelift via an olive suede front section, black mesh, green leather, and a wide swath of “Safari” inspired patterned leather. These also feature strong orange accents via the laces, toe-box details and sole. Asics Gel-Lyte III – White – Purple – Yellow

The newest from Asics, these Gel-Lyte III’s receive a new yet retro look via a striking white, purple and yellow colorway. The classic combo of suede and mesh is played off nicely on this pair, where Asics uses it as an opportunity for some unique color-blocking. The front section in suede is in the purple, as is the side and heel section, while the toe-box is in the classic white mesh. Yellow accents the collar, heel and of course the unique split tongue. Saint Alfred x Asics Gel Lyte III – Worldwide Release Date

This Weekends Saint Alfred x Asics release has been making headlines all over the interwebs and while Chicago will be seeing it’s drop tomorrow, A wider release is schedule for June 15th. The collaboration between Asics and Saint Alfred is the first of it’s kind so rest assure that these babies will fly off shelves. The Asics line is already gaining much notoriety thanks to good ol’ Ronnie Fieg but on the “Noncollab” side, the Japanese athletic company is cooking up a few colorways that will gain as much attention as any collab in recent months. “Flamingo” – Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III Preview

Asics and Ronnie Fieg are making the most of their current notoriety, and the latest endeavor for the two is this “Flamingo” take on the classic Gel Lyte III. Comprised of a beige suede upper accented in grey mesh, this sneaker keeps it simple for the most part. The “Flamingo” moniker is derived from the pale pink that accents these Gels via the Asics swoops and throughout the sneaker. Wtih a bold blue lining and multi-colored rope laces, this is quite the special collab from Fieg and Asics.
