Original Story (09/29/19): 2019 has been a great year for the Nike Dunk. Parra and Supreme have each dropped their own takes on the SB version, while Virgil Abloh’s Off-White is releasing their three colorways later this year. The Dunk love will continue in 2020 with COMME des GARÇONS own take of the Nike Dunk Low.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Dunk Low features a translucent upper, a design choice similar to that of CDG’s Dunk High from a couple years back. But while the Dunk High’s upper was a clear PVC, the Dunk Low has a translucent upper with the same material seen on the React Element 87 and on some off the Off-White x Nike collabs (the Vapor Fly for example).
According to PY_RATES, Nike and CDG will be releasing two different Black/Black Dunk Lows in Summer 2020. Both made their debut during Paris Fashion Week: one with large “cdg” branding all over in white lower-case letters and one without. Check them out below and stay tuned for more info.

Update (05/11/20): Comme des Garçons has announced that it will be launching both versions of its Nike Dunk Low via Dover Street Market in men’s and women’s sizing on May 14th for $260 USD each. A wider release is expected to follow.
Both the “Print” and “Black” versions feature a transparent upper made of Nexkin with translucent and lightweight stretch-woven fabric and waxed laces. Check out the official images below.
