March Madness is officially here. Teams all across the country are trying to secure their spot in the big dance, and play for the National Championship in April. Today, Jordan Brand announced three new colorways featuring signature shoes from Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade all inspired by their college schools. Both Marquette and Syracuse have locked up a spot in the big dance, but look to run through the Big East Tournament to improve or hold their seeding. The Jordan Fly Wade 2 ‘Marquette’ brings a university gold on the toe and midway through the shoe, complimented with obsidian on the heel. Syracuse has all but locked up a number one seed in the tournament and the Orange look to make a serious run at the National Championship, much like Carmelo Anthony and ‘Cuse did in 2003. The Jordan Melo M8 ‘Syracuse’ not only features midnight navy on the Jordan and Melo logos, but the traditional Syrcause orange color dubbed “orange blaze”. While Wake Forest needs a miracle run to win the ACC Tournament and get into the big dance, they still have boosted former NBA stars like Chris Paul and Tim Duncan. This Jordan CP3.V ‘Wake Forest’ boosts a mainly all black shoe, with a Vegas gold Jordan and CP3 logo. The lining of the shoe features the Vegas gold as well. How many players will we see rocking these kicks during March Madness?
