It’s rare to hear about someone unfamiliar with MJ and it’s even weirder when they’re familiar with the shoe brand, and not with the person who actually wore them.
Sports Illustrator writer Phil Taylor had to learn the hard way when he shared his MJ experiences with a fourth grade classroom and was met with blank stares.
The teacher proceeded with “The man who makes Air Jordans” right after the awkward silence and the students were immediately familiar.
If that doesn’t make you feel old, we don’t know what will.
Told 4th grade class I’ve written abt Michael Jordan. Blank stares. Teacher said, “The man who makes Air Jordans.” They got it. #TimeFlies
