adidas announces a bold reimagining of its greatest running shoe, Ultra BOOST™, as seen by Stella McCartney, Kris Van Assche, kolor’s Junichi Abe, and adidas Creative Directors Dirk Schönberger & James Carnes.
The Ultra BOOST Collective, a limited-edition capsule collection, features iconic and personal takes on Ultra BOOST by these 5 designers. The result is a series of footwear that encapsulates both the innovative tradition of adidas and the distinct aesthetics of each creator—striking a balance between futuristic technology and modern elegance.
Stella McCartney defines this stylistic convergence in her feminine tones and refined fabric textures, while Schönberger & Carnes go monochrome for their sleek, minimal, all-black or all-white shoe. First time adidas collaborator, Van Assche’s idiosyncratic spirit is seen in his playful argyle runner, while Abe’s penchant for pop is plainly evident in his choice of eye-popping citrus hues of orange, lime green, and lemon yellow.
