While we’re all for clever colorway and material changes, it’s always refreshing to see a brand bring true innovation to the collab game. Though this has been done before, it’s something that should be done more often. Not only do these look great, they’ve been improved, something that anyone who has owned a pair of Wallabee’s will appreciate. While we love these leathery kicks, you have to admit that they aren’t the warmest in the winter, something nanamica took care of with the addition of a Gore-Tex fabric layer in addition to the classic suede. Clarks and nanamica didn’t stop their either, they moved down to the sole, and though the crepe sole is an icon, if you’ve walked around pavement with these, you’ve probably felt it wear down before your very eyes. To fix this, nanamica hooked these up with a proper Vibram outsole. These will be limited to 500 pairs and will be available via nanamica’s Japanese locations in December.
