Customizer Jwdanklefs continues his mastery of the classic Air Max alterations with a Nike Air Max 1 “De La Soul” tribute to the very popular Nike Dunk High SB that was themed after the band. The shoe nails most of the design touches that made the De La Dunk High so special and sports many AM1 features that truly make this custom unique. The green cement is on point along with the heel graphic, which on this application takes place on the mid shoe saddle.
A nice Air Max specific feature is the brown mesh that makes up the toe box, and the multi-colored outsole really adds an extra pop to differentiate it from the inspiration. These 1 of 1 were a result of a flawless customization by the Dank and won’t be available for purchase, but for now you can gawk at the photos and let us know if the replication was better than the original.
