Possibly pulling inspiration from Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 1/97, Nike is set to release a collection of corduroy-covered Air Maxes consisting of two Air Max 97s and two Air Max 98s.
All four sneakers come dressed in a pastel color palette, inspired by the beautiful sunset seen from the top of a mountain during hiking. The AM97 “Desert Sand” features a pink and tan upper, while the AM97 “Light Blue” uses earth tones for the base and a soft powder blue hue on the mudguard. The AM98 “Amber Rise” sports a mix of cream, pink and orange hues, while the AM98 “Thunder Grey” features a combination of blue, beige, pink and charcoal.
The Nike Air Max 97 & 98 Corduroy Pack will release on Nike SNKRS Japan on November 30th, with a stateside release expected soon after. Check out all four colorways below.
