The Nike Air Flight 89 is in for a quickstrike release for Fall 2015. One of Nike’s most important basketball sneakers, the Nike Flight 89, turns 26 in 2015 and this fall, NSW will be whipping up an all white colorway featuring a varsity 89 on the heel.
Back in 1989, the Nike Air Flight released before the Air Jordan 4 which explains the striking similarities between both classics. Unfortunately for the Flight model, the Air Jordan 4 became more popular but continues to be a staple within the Nike Basketball series. These are set to release as a QS in the U.S but have already dropped overseas so head over and cop a pair now.
