If the swoosh hasn’t done it already, someone else already has and Flyknit with Air Max has been a long time coming. Although we’ve seen the later Air Max series combined with Flyknit (Air Max 2015), nothing compares to the traditional Air Max 1 silhouette mashed up with the OG Flyknit trainer.
Seen here is a custom done by NueveCinquenta who mashed up the multi-color flyknit upper, on top of an Air Max 1 outsole resulting in a fire combination. The Flyknit chosen for this custom comes from the latest Multi-Color release, with a random GR Air Max 1 serving as the base. Is it too late for Nike to whip these up themselves?
