If you weren’t aware, basketball legend Kobe Bryant recently collaborated with writer Wesley King to create a new magical world surrounding the lives of a youth basketball team in a book series called “Wizenard”. For the new Kobe Protro 4, they take motifs from the first book’s cover for the design of the shoe.
The first and only book of the series so far titled “Training Camp” features a basketball-shaped, planetary orb made with various lines and color streams. The Kobe Protro 4 takes inspiration from that orb for the print on the upper. Colored streams of red, volt green, and blue wrap the shoe with an outsole to match the color scheme. The Swoosh, heel cap, and midsole come in black along with the tumbled leather tongue.
