Kobe Bryant debuted the Joker-inspired Nike Zoom Kobe V “Chaos” on the court on Christmas Day 2009, releasing to the public the following day. Ten years later, this colorway makes its return to debut the Protro version of the Kobe V.
The Kobe V Protro features some technical upgrades from its predecessor, including bigger zoom air cushioning on the forefoot, softer foam in the midsole, and a scaled down traction pattern on the outsole for optimal grip. The Kobe V Protro “Chaos” releases in North America on January 3rd.
An alternate “Chaos” colorway will also be releasing in partnership with NBA 2K which replaces the white of the overlays and midsole with a dark charcoal. Beginning on December 26th at 10 AM EST, players who surpass Kobe Bryant’s Christmas Day game-high of 42 points in MyPLAYER Nation and win the game will unlock the alternate colorway in-game as well as get the opportunity to purchase the sneakers via SNKRS app.
