Nike, well NikeLab, continues the theme of tinkering with classic silhouettes (excuse the pun), this time taking aim at the Huarache Light. Similar to the LunarMax line, here we see the 1991 design revamped with a Lunarlon sole. The all white colorway seen here is broken up by tonal perforations and a partially speckled midsole. The Huarache’s signature design language has been elevated with Lunarlon cushioning for a premium feel and modern appearance. Tinker Hatfield’s original Air Huarache design was first introduced in 1991. It would go onto inspire basketball, cross-training, and lifestyle silhouettes, with the latest being a lighter, premium reworking of its lineage. Premium leather, mesh paneling, and Lunarlon cushioning create a new expression of sport style while retaining signature Huarache design cues. A look from above reveals the silhouette’s intricate design language, highlighted by TPU eyes-stays that provide a snug, lockdown fit.
