The Area 72 collection from Nike Sportswear features 5 basketball shoes taking on an interstellar theme in preparation for the 2013 NBA ALl Star Game in Houston. The 5 pack from Nike features a Barkleyposite, a Vandal Hi, a Lunar Force 1 , a Blazer Mid, and lastly the Nike Air Force Max. The shoes all playfully and colorfully utilize the theme, from the Vandals outer carved out of space rocks, to the Blazer Mid which looks like the view out of a telescope. All shoes are branded with a Raygun martian and feature unique Area 72 tagging that are slapped on to the shoes amidst the sea of pinks and purples.
