On Wednesday August 7th, Nike hosted an unsanctioned race in the streets of Chicago with local run crew 3Run2. 1 mile. First to break tape wins. No chip timing. No closed course. An exhilarating experience with the possibility of cars, cyclists, and pedestrians coming in your direction. Hundreds of Chicago’s runners put themselves to the test of grit and only one man and one woman walked away as winners.

Check out the photos below, as well as a video recap by Chicago runner/vlogger Kofuzi, and stay tuned to nike.com/chicago to participate in future races and other Nike events.
