The Off-White Air Jordan 5 is not the only Off-White x Nike release expected to drop next year. Originally seen amongst unreleased samples in Virgil Abloh’s “Figures Of Speech” exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “Canary Yellow” is now expected to get an official release in 2020.

Rumors of a release began when an up-close image of the shoe’s zip-tie with the year 2020 printed on it was posted online. Shortly after, pro skater Bam Margiela posted a video of himself wearing a Virgil signed pair of the colorway.

The “Canary Yellow” name stems from the URL of Virgil Abloh’s website canary—yellow.com. The sneaker comes dressed in shades of yellow, white, and grey, and has the standard Off-White motifs on it, such as “AIR” on the midsole and orange tag on the Swoosh.

Check out the video of Bam Margiela skating in the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “Canary Yellow” below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety to see if these rumors hold weight.
