Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low Collection

Late last summer, Virgil Abloh and Nike confirmed three new models of the veteran Nike Dunk Low Leather silhouette which are set to arrive before Christmas.

Through the official photos of the new colorways, it’s plain to see the basic architecture is still there, but now comes equipped with an armor of a widened and intricate lacing system, newly accented tongues, and Off-White™’s signature Helvetica iconography and zip tie detailing. All three pairs come dressed in richer versions of their primary colors, including “University Gold/Midnight Navy/White,” “University Red/University Red/Wolf Grey,” and “White/Pine Green/Pine Green.”

Though the shoe reached its commercial peak in 2004-2005, its lived on the feet of basketball players, skateboarders, and hypebeasts alike throughout the years. The Dunk Low’s older and more successful brother, the Air Force 1, remains at the forefront of Nike’s marketing strategies, but Nike has no doubt recognized and cashed in on the revived interest of celebrities like Travis Scott, Kyrie Irving, and Virgil Abloh himself reportedly resorting to Ebay in search of a pair of Dunks.

All three colorways of the Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low are set to drop on December 20th with a lot more in store for Dunks in 2020. Until then, take a closer look below.
