Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” Mentioned in “Yeezus”
The anticipation for anything Kanye, Yeezy, or Yeezus has been tremendous this month, and today’s leak of Kanye West’s 6th studio album has only added fuel to the Yeezus fire. We gave you a preview of his tracklist this week, and even with that information the album still managed to drop some hidden jems. The biggest surprise was the reference to the Air Yeezy 2 “Red Octobers” that have been setting the web ablaze. The latest stunt from Don C gave us a hint to their moniker, but this “Yeezy’s all in your sofa, these the Red Octobers” quote from “Yeezus’” track “Hold My Liquor” (featuring Chief Keef) is by far the most concrete release information we have seen since images of the now infamous all-red Air Yeezy 2′s hit the web months ago. Kanye West Announces New Projections for Tonight and June 15th
Kanye West’s “Yeezus” leak made the internet go bonkers earlier today, and the madness continues with an announcement about several projections being made tonight and tomorrow via Kanye West. Last Month, Ye’s genius marketing team took over 24 cities on a projection raid that debuted his “New Slaves” song. Expect another track from Yeezy tonight. One of the few brands still actually maintaining factories in the US, this “American Rebel” collection from New Balance is a welcome and worthy release. Consisting of American themed colorways that draw inspiration from everything from muscle cars to the flag, these kicks aren’t just American themed but genuinely made in America.
