Vans has truly pulled out all the stops for their Fall 2013 California collection, as made evident by the latest announcement, this Mesa 79, a mid-top “sneaker” that pays homage to the desert boots of World War II, boots that have come to be some of the most popular in the street-wear world. Comprised of a leather upper accented via a canvas side panel, this bold look sees two colorways, a light brown/olive and a dark brown/red, both of which are equally striking. The newest from Asics, these Gel-Lyte III’s receive a new yet retro look via a striking white, purple and yellow colorway. The classic combo of suede and mesh is played off nicely on this pair, where Asics uses it as an opportunity for some unique color-blocking. The front section in suede is in the purple, as is the side and heel section, while the toe-box is in the classic white mesh. Yellow accents the collar, heel and of course the unique split tongue. Studs have been an on going trend in fashion for quite sometime and what happens when you incorporate it on the AF-1? You get the “Spike” Nike Air Force 1 Downtown. These all white joints feature studded panels from front to back so if you’re tryna style out with the AF-1 this summer, these joints are just proper. One of our childhood cartoon shows is in for a collaboration with Converse. Today,  Converse announced a new collaboration with the longest running scripted show in television history, The Simpsons. Marking the show’s first ever footwear collaboration, The Simpsons Chuck Taylor All Star collection will feature custom graphics specially chosen for the collection in styles available for the entire family. Currently in production on its record-annihilating 25^th season, The Simpsons has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world.  The show’s characters Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie will be featured on the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star in graphics reflective of the show’s wit and humor.

The latest offering from adidas’ Blue collection, the Leopard Pack features a bold take on three classic adidas silhouettes. Draped in bold new designs, the Tech Super, Match Play and AO Hookshot barely resemble their former selves. The Tech Super and AO Hookshot take a little bit of a toned down approach to leopard, using a monocrhomatic look as well as just an accent of leopard, while the Match Play goes full on, giving you your daily dose of Leopard print via an entirely Leopard printed upper.
