Nike and Parra are linking up again, this time to release a take on the SB Dunk Low with the addition of the SB Blazer Low. This is the first collaboration between the two since last July when they released special versions of the Air Max 1 and Spidiron silhouettes. Piet Parra is a Dutch artist best known for his curved post-pop imagery, highly saturated colors, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters but he usually skates in white shoes, so with this collab he balances his identity as skater with public expectations of his output.

“I knew I wanted to make a shoe that I would skate in, but also appeal to the people that are more into my use of color and drawings,” Piet explains. “That’s how I got to the colorful, layered Swoosh and the crazy pattern on the inside of the shoe.”

The Parra x Nike SB collab will both release on July 26th at skate shops and a global release on the SNKRS app July 27th. Take a look at the full collection below.
