The Nike Air Command Force Pump. Grail to many, this vintage work of art embodies the strides taken during the late 80’s and 90’s taken by basketball sneaker companies. The Air Command took where the Air Force line left off and went a step further by adding in this crazy concept of pumping air directly into the shoe. While we’ve seen Reebok implement a Pump system, it was not quite as intricate as the concept cooked up by the Command. The shoe’s aesthetics were quite unique, but the real eye-catcher was the massive Pump unit included in the package. Check out the gallery of a vintage pair let us know how much you would drop on a pair.
