Original Story (10/29/19): Round Two co-owner Sean Wotherspoon has taken to his Instagram to tease what appears be the spiritual successor to his fan-favorite collab with Nike.
The images posted by Sean are super close-up shots of an ASICS GEL-Lyte III. The bright color palette and corduroy construction are reminiscent of Sean’s Air Max 1/97. The photos show a layer of Velcro underneath the brand’s distinctive crossed stripes branding, which may indicate that the stripes come in interchangeable colors.
A previously leaked photo also shows wear-away detailing on the heels, revealing an atmos logo on the left heel and Sean’s peace sign logo on the right.
We can expect to see Sean Wotherspoon’s atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III release sometime in 2020. Check out the photos below in the meantime.
Update (01/24/20): While his atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III is still in the sample phase, Sean has provided new on-feet photos of what the final product may look like. Check them out below.
Update (12/12/19): Sean has shared another image from the sample phase of his atmos x ASICS collab. The new image shows some updates, such as a velvet insole and footliner, as well as mini crossed stripes logo on to the toe. Check it out below.
