Sneaker Politics is partnering with world renowned coffee and beignet shop (and fellow New Orleans French Quarter business) Cafe Du Monde and Saucony to release a Shadow 5000. The official colorway of the shoe is Beignet / Sugar and the brown suede and leather upper is covered in white specks that imitate the look of powdered sugar on a beignet. The white midsole with a green outsole, as well as the white and green striped insole, reflect the look of Cafe Du Monde’s iconic awnings. Rounding out the details of the sneakers is Sneaker Pollitics branding on the tongue of the right shoe and Cafe Du Monde branding on the tongue of the right shoe, both in green on a white background. Even the packaging of the shoe has special attention paid to it, masquerading as a beignet mix box.
