Images of Jordan Brand’s next Supreme collaboration surfaced in late April. Supreme has since then announced that the Air Jordan 14 will release as part of their SS19 Week 16 drop. The Air Jordan 14 comes in a white colorway with hints of red on the heel and collar tip, plus black on the midsole and a black colorway with royal blue highlights on the midsole and collar. Hundreds of small metal studs wrap around the heel and midpanels on both colorways. Finally, the back of the shoe sports Jumpman, 23, and Supreme box logo branding. The design of the Air Jordan 14 is inspired by high-speed luxury vehicles.
Michael Jordan famously wore the Air Jordan 14 on June 14, 1998. It was Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, when Jordan sank the game winning shot with 5 seconds left in the game, securing the Chicago Bulls’ sixth championship and second three-peat.
The two brands most recently collabed on the Air Jordan 5 back in 2015. Both colorways of the Supreme x Air Jordan 14 will release on June 13 for an expected retail price of $248.
