The adidas Consortium program gives top-tier retailers from around the world the unique opportunity to work closely with the Three Stripes, allowing them to put their own spin on adidas’s top silhouettes. Barcelona’s sivasdescalzo is the latest retailer to participate in this program, reworking one of adidas’s newest silhouettes, the Sobakov Boost.
The soccer-inspired Sobakov silhouette released just last year and was an instant crowd favorite upon arrival. The silhouette has been recently revamped with added Boost technology, and SVD gets first dibs on working with this new model. Their iteration of the Sobakov Boost features a black and green mesh upper, burnt orange suede striping, and blue leather around the ankle. The midsole features an exposed black Boost unit along the heel, while the Sobakov’s signature EVA gum sole covers the midfoot and toes. A soccer-themed SVD logo tab is fixed onto the sneaker’s white tongue.
The sivasdescalzo x adidas Consortium Sobakov Boost will release on May 9th at sivasdescalzo stores and online, retailing for €180 EUR (approximately $200 USD).
