Usually colorways take some explaining, using distant often not overtly apparent inspirations, but these new joints from Vans see the Authentic silhouette get a “Work Boot” makeover that looks damn near exactly like you’d expect it to. Not the most creative thing we’ve ever seen from Vans but these were pulled off with extreme finesse and are a clever take on the classic Authentic sneaker. The tan, suede upper looks great and gets the proper lacing via boot style “tweed” laces. Cooler months are approaching quickly, so cop a pair of these to get you through them now.
