Guillermo Andrade’s 424 and adidas Originals have unveiled their latest collaboration, a complete apparel collection accompanied by 424-designed takes on the Superstar, SC Premiere, and Pro Model.
Apparel-wise, this collection sees the LA-based streetwear concept boutique incorporating a mix of the OG Run-DMC sweatsuit style with the clean, tailored elements of formalwear. Essentials such as tees and hoodies come dressed in the collection’s black and red color pallette, as well as more elevated pieces like the blazer and the kimono-style track jacket.
The best example of this formal/sportswear mix is the track pants, dressed in a print inspired by 1920s trouser designs with the classic 3-Stripes running down the sides. Accessories include an oversized scarf, an overdyed cap, and a pair of black heavy socks.
In the footwear department, the SC Premiere and 50th Anniversary Superstar “Shell-Toe” are offered in a minimalist white colorway with contrasting pops of red on the tongue. The two Pro Model colorways come in black and white options, each adorned with gold foil detailing.
The 424 x adidas Originals SS20 collection will be available Friday, May 8th via adidas.com/424. Check out the full collection in the images below.
