43einhalb x adidas ZX 10000 “Joint Path” Release Info

Original Story (09/09/21): Over the last 10 years, 43einhalb has served the people of Germany, honing its base around Hesse’s community. adidas has taken note of this presence, helping the streetwear and sneaker boutique celebrate its 10th anniversary with a collaboration on the ZX 10000.

The layers of the adidas ZX 10000 provide plenty of playing ground for a design reflecting the creative journey, making the silhouette a perfect choice for this project. Inspired by the geographical landscape of Germany, the “Joint Path” ZX 10000 comes dressed in dark grey, representing Frankfurt’s urban scenery. The grey is then broken up by earth and citrus tones drawn from beach and sunrise color schemes. Hits of blue and green also take shape for the rivers, seas, forests and fields found throughout the country.

Great ideas come when least expected, as was the case with the Joint Path logo. Brainstormed on a napkin, the logo combines adidas’ Trefoil with the fleur-de-lis of Fulda. This logo is found on the orange tongue tag.  A stitched “43” also takes its place on the heel. The name of the shoe reflects the motto: “In the end, it’s about friends who’ve joined your path.”
