BAPE has teamed up with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama on a collection consisting of apparel, BE@RBRICKs, and a collaborative BAPE STA shoe.
Sorayama is most known for his erotic portrayals of feminine robots, which are often adorned in a silver or gold metallic finish. As such, the two BAPE SHARK x Hajime Sorayama BE@RBRICKs come in silver and gold, and are available as a 100% and 400% set or in 1000% sizing. The BAPE STA features a metallic silver upper and comes equipped with a matching lace cover with BAPE LINE camo detailing. BAPE’s LINE camo design also appears on the STA logos on the side panels, while underfoot is a translucent sole unit. Additional pieces in the collection include SHARK tees in black and white, a grey LINE camo coach jacket, and a metallic silver tote bag.
The BAPE x Hajime Sorayama collection will be available on July 31st at A Bathing Ape locations and BAPE.com. The BE@RBRICKs will also be available at 2G TOKYO and 2G OSAKA.
